MK5 GTI STAGE 2 QUESTION
Last Poster: Levi in Mk5 General Area on Today at 05:14:36 pm
Hello, after like 2 years and a lot of problems I'#039ve managed to get my car tuned to stage 2. My coil pack went bad right after the tune and I'#039ve decided to go for new coils and new spark plugs. I'#039ve asked the tuner (he had no time to put it on the dyno cause it was saturday and they weren'#039t officially opened) how much hp is it pushing and he said like 260 hp and then right afte

If I find a gap this week in the evening, I’ll mount the rear shocks and springs first. Nothing difficult to mount and adjust…😎#128526
The front is basically the same but I’ve got to disassemble the gearbox mount along with the dogbone mount and press in the Vibra-Technics gearbox bushing in… also the SuperPro wishbones with all new bushings and the Tyrolsport deades

Decided to allocate some funds to the car again this month and did a suspension refresh. New Lemförder sway bar end links, new Bilstein B4 sport front and rear shocks, Eibach Pro-Kit coils from my old Jetta (7k km on them tops) and new dust/mud guards for the shocks along with new Lemförder strut mounts front and rear. OIL LEAK help! Turbo covered in oil
Last Poster: Saaim124 in Mk5 General Area on November 13, 2024, 01:40:45 pm
Below you can see I have an oil leak? Any ideas where anyone thinks it’s coming from drops down all the way to the bottom and leaks. I’ve added as many pics from areas surrounding the turbo.
ADVICE NEEDED! OIL LEAK?, turbo covered in oil, pics below. Help needed
Last Poster: Saaim124 in Mk5 General Area on November 13, 2024, 01:28:21 pm
Hi everyone I’ve got a mk5 gti 07 plate and I’ve noticed I’ve got an oil leak as there’s little puddles under my car. I’ve narrowed the leak down to someone where near the turbo not sure if it’s the actual turbo leaking or something else. Ive added some pics below and any help would be nice. Pretty sure it’s not the cover gasket that’s leaking.

Hey, at least you have a lead now. Replacing the windshield wipers on these cars is a pain but if you wanna see real pain, try doing it on an Audi A4 B7. You either remove the ecu and it'#039s case or you have a friend bend it and pray to god it doesnt break since it'#039s a 20 year old plastic. You need to wiggle that sh*t around for at least 30 minutes to take it out but funny enough,

Funny thing, forgot to mention. After turning the car off and letting it sit, I can hear droplets noise coming from the fuel tank, as if fuel would be trickling back. Mostly notable after medium to hard driving. My money is on the pump being the culprit cause I'#039ve heard it having issues. Been meaning to replace it since half a year ago but always found something more "quotimportant"quot
